Chapman & Moore
Chapman & Moore, founded in 1794 on Old Bond Street as a gentleman's accessory supplier, has undergone several transformations throughout its history. After becoming dormant, the name was revived by a Northampton shoemaker to produce classic English welted shoes for European customers. Later, through a serendipitous conversation on a flight, the brand was acquired and relaunched alongside the opening of a new factory. Now a small, family-run business, Chapman & Moore designs and develops footwear in the UK, combining Goodyear welted classics with fashionable cemented styles. Using premium materials and skilled craftsmanship in their partner factory in India, the brand aims to make high-quality shoes accessible to all, often curating complementary products that share their values.
